Betty Bottler

Betty Bottler grew up in the Dust Bowl of Amarillo, TX for her first 12 years, then in Tulsa, OK. From there, Betty traveled east to boarding school, then attended Vassar. She married Bill Jenkins and moved to his city, Seattle.

She and Bill lived at Edgewater Condos for seven years, moved to Everett for 12 years, then Laurelhurst and eventually settled in Madison Park’s Park Shore. She serves as an Emeritus Board Member of Pacific Science Center, the board for Trust for Public Land, was involved in Seattle Public Schools, helping implement the STEM program and developing children’s’ gardens for outdoor classroom experience.

Betty has served on the MPCC for several terms over the year and is active in the Park Shore community.
